I had a dream one night about being chased by the mob. No matter what i couldn't escape. When i woke i realized it was a metaphor for not pursuing my dreams. So i decided to put everything into my music like i never have before.
lyrics
everywhere i turn i see shadows
doesnt matter how far i get
time is always running out
sailboats on the water cant
keep me safe
headlights on the road
im drifting
Im always runnin
runnin from the man in my dreams
Oak doors aint thick enough
to stop the knock
deadbolts shaking as i sweat
is this room getting smaller
cuz im clasterphobic
cant fight the feeling but i know im sick
Im always runnin
runnin from the man in my dreams
Am i in my head
cuz its to real to speak
let me wake up cuz my eyes are open
to bad i cant see
oh i wish i could see
